It was World Bee Day on Friday, May 20 and we wanted to celebrate our little busy pals! Even though the day has passed, you can still raise a glass to them and make a delicious cocktail!

We source all of our honey locally from a combination of our very own family-owned hives located close by, in Chestermere, Alberta. We also work with Greidanus Honey Mill, of High River, to meet our needs for honey beyond that which our family hive can produce.

Discover the flavour of local honey in our Medica Honey Liqueur, Honey Eau de Vie, Single Hive Rye Whiskey Cask Honey Spirit, Strawberry Cucumber Honey Spirit Soda, Raspberry Basil Spirit Soda, or on its own in jars available at our distillery.

This cocktail kit will transport you into a tropical mood and have you excited for summer! Have a little getaway (Just like our Bees!) Did you know that our Bees spend the winter on the island (Vancouver island but that still counts right?😂)

Rich Raw Burwood honey shines in this cocktail transporting you to a warm tropical beach with notes of vanilla, toasted marshmallow and citrus.  Cheers to the Bees!

What’s in the Kit:

1- 750ml bottle of Burwood Limited edition Honey Rhum

1-400g jar Burwood Raw Honey

1- Honey Dipper

1- Fresh Lime

1- Fresh Lemon

Dried Lime Wheel (Garnish)

Recipe

2 oz Honey Rhum

1/4 oz each of lemon & lime juice

1 Tablespoon of honey

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a coupe glass

float lime wheel on top to garnish
