With a rich nose from the beans and a sweet initial taste coming from the malted barley this vodka is a little more complicated than most. On further drinking the spirit heat and flavour fade leaving a deep, dark and earthy aftertaste of nothing but decadent natural chocolate.
Working together with Burwood Chef Matthew Filson-Lau they selected four varieties of cocoa beans from different countries with differing but complimentary complexity, flavour profiles and roasts that would be best incorporated into the two row Alberta malted barley Burwood Vodka.
The result is a spectacularly complex spirit.
