At Burwood Distillery, we take community seriously, and aim to keep the stories of the past alive. The G.O.A.T is our whisky dedicated to the community members who made Burwood possible. Raise a glass to Sal, the Greatest of All Time.

Grown, fermented, aged, and bottled in Alberta, this Single Malt Whisky marks the second edition of our G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) line of single expression whiskies. Featuring unique flavours that showcase our distilling team's creativity, we chose a unique dual finish: Red and White Port barrels. This selection is more than just about flavour; it's a proud nod to our roots and a celebration of our Canadian heritage.

We carefully selected 6 barrels (aged 3.5 to 6 years) of our Single Malt Whisky, blended them, and recasked them for an additional 14 months in Red & White port casks. The result is a beautifully complex spirit. It opens with a base of caramel and almond from the original charred oak aging, which builds into layers of jammy red fruit from the Red Port. The spirit finishes with a bright, acidic punch of green grape and apricot from the White Port. This Red and White Port-Finished Single Malt is a Canadian Whisky like no other. Cheers!
